In the future I aim to develop coursework not only in microbial and invertebrate ecology of aquatic and glacier environments, but also interdisciplinary coursework at the intersection of ecology, traditional ecological knowledge (TEK), sustainability, business, and human behavior. Examining issues at a systems level through multidisciplinary lenses will help to develop holistic understanding and development of ecologically-driven thought processes and decision making.
